Meet Fariba

"Fariba is an Acupuncturist, licensed by the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Toronto, ON. She is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) with the CTCMPAO (College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario). "

Also, she completed her M.Sc. degree in Occupational Therapy at the Iran University of Medical Science, Tehran, Iran. By working in hospitals and rehabilitation clinics for over 10 years, she also gains outstanding clinical experience in treating adults and children with physical, mental, or psychological disorders.

She believes in integrative medicine and works closely with a select group of physical therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, massage therapists, and other specialists for comprehensive treatment.

Fariba strongly supports the integration of eastern and western medicine. She is committed to helping people to reach their utmost potential in physical, mental, and spiritual health by respecting each individual as a unique being. She is an acupuncturist treating females, males, and children with a wide range of healing techniques such as Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Motor Point Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, Modern Neuro-Anatomical Acupuncture, Auricular Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, and Moxibustion. While Fariba treats a wide variety of pathologies she has a particular interest in weight loss, autoimmune diseases, stress management, anxiety and depression, allergies, digestive conditions, adverse reactions to radiotherapy, and/or chemotherapy, insomnia, hypertension, and other internal and external pathologies. As part of her clinical treatment, Fariba has worked with women of all ages to help regulate their menstrual cycle, relieve symptoms of PMS, balance moods, digestion, stabilize hormone levels, and support the fertility process as well as provide pregnancy support. Additionally, Fariba practiced in a different setting for joint diseases, physical disabilities, and chronic illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. She accompanied being an outstanding Cosmetic Acupuncturist by getting her Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture Certificate from Naturopathic College of Ontario, Toronto, ON.
